Small businesses and their staff in Quinte West will have access to no-cost dental hygiene care this week.
The Gift from the Heart Community Cruiser will be at the Quinte West Chamber parking lot this Wednesday (July 21) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. offering free oral wellness assessments, oral cancer screenings, and dental hygiene services.
The Community Cruiser is a former ambulance that has been retrofitted to provide essential preventive oral health care on wheels as part of the Open Wide program.
Gift from the Heart is a non-profit charity, founded by Bev Woods whose mission is to provide access to no-cost dental hygiene care.
Since its inception, GFTH along with health care volunteers, has provided oral health care services valued at over $1.5 million.
The Quinte West Chamber of Commerce is located at 97 Front Street in Trenton.
