Brighton’s Applefest is being cancelled for a second year, however, organizers aren’t ruling out a smaller community event.
The organizing committee made the difficult decision to cancel the annual September festival due to the uncertainty regarding gathering sizes as the province continues to reopen.
The event traditionally welcomes 10,000 people to Brighton but was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19.
Final decisions on a smaller community event will be made by the middle of August.
