A Belleville man appears in court Monday on at least one break and enter charge after Belleville police chased down a suspect earlier in the day.
Officers responded around 2 a.m. to a break and enter in progress in Belleville’s east end.
After a 23-year-old was arrested, further investigation led police to believe he had broken into several residences and outbuildings in the area.
Belleville police are asking anyone who discovers signs of a break and enter to contact them at 613-966-0882.
