The province has announced 4,812 new cases of COVID-19 Friday and over 64,000 tests.
That is once again a single day high for Ontario.
So far 3.64 million vaccination doses have been administered.
Toronto had a daily high of 1,469, Peel saw 851, while York, Ottawa and Durham combined for 1,125.
There were 20 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Hastings and Prince Edward counties yesterday, for a total of 148 active.
In Northumberland County, 19 new COVID cases were reported yesterday, bringing the number of active infections there up to 119.
Friday local numbers come out at 2:00 p.m.
