The Children’s Foundation is getting set for a down east kitchen party, and it is one that can happen in your own kitchen.
On Saturday June 12, the foundation is hosting its first virtual event called the On The Bay Kitchen Party.
Kim Henry is the Executive Director and says they are bringing the east coast of Canada right to the Quinte region.
“It’s going to be a down east lobster dinner with wine, music, local bands, auctions, and some real stories of how the participants are impacting lives of kids and youths at risk.”
“A lot of fun, maybe some tears, a lot of good eats. Everything is virtual and we are bringing everything to you to make your night a lot of fun.”
Five local bands are performing throughout, with Boyd Sullivan hosting the live auction, and Jack Miller presiding as emcee.
