“Devising that one tool where we can identify all those individuals with their consent to be put on a list. Now that will be available for our partners and our agencies to help us navigate those homeless individuals.”

One major detail that still needs to be determined is how staff is going to go about getting in touch with a person experiencing homelessness.
Rivers noted that staff members will have to develop a specific digital coordinated access-type system that can be maintained and updated regularly.
Provincial guidelines did not include any information on that.
The director observed that two years after the last enumeration “it shows it is not working, so we need something more responsive.”
