A day after Belleville Police found more than 7,000 marijuana plants in an east end industrial building, police in Quinte West have made a similar discovery.
Members of the Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team, Quinte West OPP and the Emergency Response Team, raided a commercial property on Harrington Road recently.
They found 1,100 cannabis plants and 71 pounds of dried cannabis, with a street value of $1.2 million.
Two people have been charged.
