March saw another substantial surge in local real estate stats as the highest month for sales this region has ever seen.
There were 589 units sold last month, with a total sales value of $361.2 million, a 147.5% increase from March of 2020.
Year-to-date sales were up almost 68% from the first three months of last year.
The Quinte and District Association of Realtors says the average price of a home in the region last month was $443,000, up 34.5% from 2020, with the average sale price coming in at a record $613,289, a 61.8% increase.
The majority of homes sold last month were in Belleville, Quinte West and Prince Edward County, with Brighton, Trent Hills and Cramahe Township also seeing big increases.
