There will be another public meeting on a large business development at the intersection of Highway 37 and Blessington Road in Belleville’s Thurlow ward.
The owner of County Courier and County Transport had originally asked for a rezoning of land to allow a truck terminal, a warehouse, and eight self-storage units.
That plan ran into a lot of opposition from residents in the area.
Now at Tuesday’s Planning Advisory Committee meeting will see plans for a smaller development with a warehouse/distribution facility and a single building for self-storage.
No decision will be made at the planning meeting Tuesday. A staff recommendation will come at a future date after considering any public input.
