The Belleville General Hospital Foundation’s $20 million campaign to ensure our community has the best care, best technology and best space is gathering pace. Bel-Con Design Builders are the latest local business to step up to make sure that happens. Michelle Stephens and Tom Gunsinger of Bel-Con pledged to donate $50,000 to ensure Belleville General Hospital will not only serve area patients but also act as the centre of important regional services to more than 160,000 people from Bancroft to Picton.
BGHF Executive Director Steve Cook says “The Be Well Campaign has received a strong response from the community, so far, and the latest donation from Bel-Con Design Builders highlights how passionate business leaders are about keeping health care strong.” Cook says “This fundraising initiative is to ensure that our community will have the best care close to home for the next five to ten years. It focuses on improving the space and regional equipment at BGH for you and for the amazing health care professionals who work here.”
“A well-equipped and well-staffed hospital has never been more important,” said Michelle Stephens. “We’re in this together and we will all need the services of the hospital over the coming years.”
