Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting nine new cases of COVID-19 and no new recoveries.
There are now 24 active cases in the area and the seven day average for cases per 100,000 people is up to 8.3
Five of the new cases are listed as being due to local spread, one due to close contact and three are listed as pending.
Four of the new cases are located in Belleville, four are in the Deseronto area and one is in Centre Hastings.
Two of the new infections are women under 19, two men and two women between 50 and 59 years old, one woman between 60 and 69 and one man and one woman over 70.
To date there have been 24,386 vaccine doses administered with 1,915 people considered to be fully vaccinated.
In Northumberland County, the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting three new cases of COVID-19 for an active total of 11 which means there has been one new recovery.
