Domestic Charges
On March 3, 2021 at 8:41 a.m., police responded to the area of Cannifton Road North regarding a domestic. Upon arrival, police conducted an investigation that revealed the involved male party had committed several domestic-related offences. Subsequently, the Belleville male was arrested for various domestic offences and was transported to the Belleville Police Service where he is being held for bail.
Theft Charges as a result of Shoplifting
On March 3, 2021 at 1:35 p.m., police responded to a business in the area of Millennium Parkway regarding a shoplifting incident. A male suspect was observed leaving the business with a large quantity of merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items. The suspect left the store in a vehicle and was subsequently located on Sidney Street and stopped by police. As a result of a police investigation, 22-year-old Harjit Singh was arrested for Theft Under $5000. Mr. Singh was released on an Appearance Notice and was given a court date of April 8, 2021 to face the charge.
