UPDATE @ 4:25 p.m.: One lane has been reopened, after firefighters put out out the blaze.
Reports say the hazardous material being carried on the truck was not breached by the fire.

Both lanes of the eastbound Highway 401 are blocked near Glen Miller Road this hour due to a truck fire.
Quinte West firefighters were called to the highway around 4:00 p.m. and are dealing with the blaze, leading to the highway being closed.
Fire Chief John Whelan says the truck is carrying dangerous materials, so crews are taking extra precautions as they work to extinguish the flames, but he hopes at least one lane can be reopened once that happens.
There are no initial reports of any injuries.
We’ll update the story as more details are available.
