Brighton council has passed its 2021 operating budget.
With municipal, county, and education budgets combined property taxes in Brighton will go up an average of 1.69%.
For a homeowner with a property valued at $400,000. the increase will mean an extra $84.00 a year in local taxes, or $7.00 a month.
