The Belleville Police Service responded to 54 calls for service from February 17, 2021 at 5 a.m. to February 18, 2021 at 5 a.m.
Motor Vehicle Collision
On February 17, 2021 shortly before 6 a.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the area of Yeomans St. and Bridge St. West. One of the vehicles was a snow plow. No injuries were reported to police, though one of the vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Through the investigation, it was determined that the at-fault driver made an improper left turn. As a-result a 23-year-old Belleville man was charged. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to call Cst.
