A local artist has made another donation to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Wellington’s Pamela Carter has been painting through the pandemic and held a winter art sale, where she donated $700, or 25% of her earnings, to the hospital foundation.
Added to a donation she made last spring, Carter has gifted the foundation a total of just under $2,500 during the 2020 calendar year.
Her art has been bought by people in PEC, as well as coast-to-coast in Canada and into the United States.
In a statement through the foundation, Carter says that over the 12 years she’s lived in The County she’s found herself benefitting from the exceptional care provided by staff at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital and was pleased to make the contribution towards current services, and the new hospital build.
