Quinte West OPP have laid charges after a disturbance on Annwood Court in Trenton on Tuesday morning.
Officers were called around 9:30 a.m. about complaints of someone yelling for help and, after what police call “an extensive investigation”, located a person hiding inside the home.
No other details were released, but OPP say two people were treated by paramedics for minor injuries and one person was arrested.
The 30-year-old Belleville man has been charged with two counts each of assault, breaching a probation order and breaching an undertaking.
He was held in custody and scheduled for a Wednesday bail hearing in Belleville Court.
