Quinte West council will take a look at its 2021 operating budget Monday.
The projected budget shows property tax is going up just under two per cent in all four wards which translates to between $60 and $68 yearly or between $5 and $6 monthly on an average house in Quinte West valued at $250,000.
The total budget is $94,571,600, $54,300,000 of which will come from general taxation.
Council will discuss the budget at its virtual meeting Monday beginning at 6 p.m.
