The Quinte Bay Gymnastics Club has received a Federal Government grant to help improve accessibility at its Harder Drive facility in Belleville.
The club moved into the former Dick Ellis Rink about six years ago and has used its $44,000 grant to install new automatic doors on the front of the building.
The money comes from the Enabling Accessibility Fund, which is handing out $15 million for similar projects this year.
Quinte Bay Gymnastics Club General Manager Tracy Teno says the new doors will allow the club to build on its mission “to teach fun, fitness and fundamentals of gymnastics in a safe and stimulating environment with classes for all ages, and abilities.”
