Now, due to COVID-19, almost everybody knows it stands for Personal Protective Equipment.
And Quinte Health Care’s Board of Directors has recognized a new team dedicated to training everyone working in local hospitals about PPE.
The so-called PPE Coaches have volunteered some of their time to training staff what equipment to wear, when to wear it, and how to wear it.
The Coaches, as a group, were presented the Values in Action Award by the Board on Tuesday.
