On Saturday May 16 2020, just after 9:30 p.m., OPP responded with Hastings-Quinte EMS and Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue to a multiple vehicle collision on Loyalist Parkway near Wellington.
Two vehicles and an ATV were involved.
One person was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result of investigation from the collision, the ATV driver has been charged.
Chadwick Sarley, age 27 from Belleville, was charged with the fol lowing:
- Operation While Impaired
- Operation While Impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Not properly insured on a highway
- No off-road vehicle permit
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton on October 14, 2020.
