Belleville Police dealt with somewhat of an odd fraud-related call last (on Thursday) night.
Officers responded to a home in the west end around 8:00 p.m. after a man told them he had been defrauded, after not receiving services that he had paid for, via Interac money transfer.
The problem is, he said those services were expected to be sexual in nature.
The officers told the complainant that the incident could lead to criminal charges against him and they are continuing to look into the case.
At this point, no charges have been laid and investigators are still trying to identify potential suspects.
