A Belleville man faces assault, threatening, weapon, and Highway Traffic Act charges after a domestic incident Friday.
Police were called around 10 o’clock in the morning after a report about a domestic dispute inside a vehicle on Point Anne Road.
When officers arrived they found a female who had left the vehicle.
Police located the vehicle and driver a short time later and an illegal knife was seized.
A 20-year-old man was arrested. There were no injuries.
