The Candidate of Record for the Conservatives in the Bay of Quinte riding Tim Durkin will have some competition for the job before the next election.
Financial advisor and former councillor and Deputy Mayor in Centre Hastings Shelby Kramp-Neuman has announced that she intends to run to be the Conservative candidate in Bay of Quinte at an upcoming nomination meeting.
Kramp-Neuman was born in Belleville and raised in Madoc and is the daughter of longtime federal and provincial politician Daryl Kramp.
She is married and has two daughters.
