Collisions
On August 14, 2020 around 5:30 p.m., Belleville Police attended a motor vehicle collision on Cannifton road. Both vehicles were not driveable as a result of the collision and no injuries were reported. As a result of the investigation one of the drivers was charged with careless driving.

Warrant arrests
On August 14, 2020 at 10 a.m., Belleville Police were contacted by Kingston Police who advised that they had a man in custody wanted on a Belleville warrant for failing to comply with a release condition. Forty-seven-year-old Ronald Huff was later released with a September 17 court date.
On August 15, 2020 at 12:30 a.m., a 20-year-old Belleville resident was arrested on an outstanding warrant for assault, sexual assault and uttering threats. He was held for a bail hearing later in the day. His name will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
Unusual entry
On August 14, 2020 at 3:30 p.m., Belleville Police were called to an east end residential complex after neighbours reported an unknown male entering a unit through a window. Officers arrived on scene and located the same man exiting the residence through the same window and he was arrested. The occupant of the unit was eventually located and advised that the male was allowed to be accessing the unit. The 31-year-old Belleville resident was released with no charges.
