Heat warnings remain in effect for much of Ontario, including areas as far south as Windsor to as far north as Timmins.
This includes the Quinte region
Maximum temperatures today are expected to reach 31 to 33 degrees, with humidex values of 39 to 41.
Environment Canada warns that air quality could be affected.
At risk populations such as young children, those with chronic illnesses and the elderly are encouraged to take precautions.
