FedDev Ontario is marking International Beer Day by investing $250,000 into three area businesses to help them grow and thrive through the pandemic.
Kings Mill Cider in Stirling is getting $75,000 to expand operations into off-peak seasons by completing a new covered walkway and enclosed deck, kitchen and taproom renovations and the addition of a wood-fire pizza oven, as well as room for overnight camping.
In Bath, MacKinnon Brothers Brewing is also getting $75,000 to add a stage to host musical and theatrical performances and other events.
And in Tweed, Potter Settlement Artisan Winery is getting $100,000 and using it to add a pizza oven, water features and other tourist amenities.
The cash comes from the Federal Government’s Canadian Experiences Fund.
