A woman suffered substantial injuries in a domestic dispute early today (Thursday) in the southwest part of Belleville.
At around 1 o’clock this morning, Belleville police responded and called Hastings Quinte paramedics to treat the woman who was at a neighbour’s home.
Police went to the home where the alleged assault occurred and arrested a 34-year-old man and charged him with with Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
His name will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
