It continues to be a good year as far as construction activity is concerned in Centre Hastings.
In June building permits were issued for projects with a total value of almost $2.9 million.
The planned construction of five new homes was responsible for most of that total.
One of the new homes is valued at $750,000.
For the first half of the year, projects worth over $6.2 million have been approved in Centre Hastings, up considerably from around $4 million in the same period last year.
