Belleville council has given its blessing to two new business developments.
Last night (Monday) council approved rezoning to allow a restaurant to be included in a proposal to build a gas bar and convenience store on Highway 62 north of Foxboro near Old Madoc Road.
Councillor Paul Carr suggested the restaurant might be a Burger King.
It also approved rezoning allowing a small craft brewery and/or distillery on a farm property on Mitchell Road.
