Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg was the scene of a good news healthcare announcement yesterday (Thursday).
Premier Doug Ford, along with Minister of Health Christine Elliott and Northumberland-Peterborough South MPP David Piccini announced almost $6 million dollars to be split between Northumberland Hills and Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
The hospital in Cobourg will get the majority of the money, about $5.6 million, with Campbellford Memorial receiving just over $300,000.
The money is a boost to cover expenses at both hospitals in the 2020/21 fiscal year.
