It is hot, so be smart.
That was the advice from the Acting Medical Officer of Health for Hastings Prince Edward Public Health Unit Dr. Alexa Caturay on the Lorne Brooker Show.
While talking with host David Foot, Caturay provided some tips during the scorching temperatures.
With temperatures in the low 30s, with the humidity the low 40s, you would think the Quinte region would be surpassing some temperature records.
That is not the case, however, as back in the 1930s, July 8 to 10 averaged a staggering 39 degrees celsius.
