A Belleville police officer may have well saved a man’s life yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.
Just before 4 o’clock police were called after reports a man was jumping in front of traffic on Dundas Street East.
When an officer arrived the man was unconscious on a sidewalk and turning blue due to a suspected overdose.
He was given two doses of Naloxone and the 27-year-old was taken to Belleville General where he recovered and was released a bit later.
