A vehicle stop led to drug charges against four people last night (Tuesday) in Belleville.
City police pulled a vehicle over on Sidney Street near Cascade Boulevard around 8:30 and found the illegal and dangerous drug fentanyl inside.
Facing possession charges are 35-year-old Justin McMahon and 33-year-old Michael Cornwall-Goddard, both of Belleville, along with a 29-year-old Gananoque woman.
They have August court dates.
A fourth person, a 26-year-old Belleville woman, was also charged with identity fraud. She appears in court today.
