OPP have announced charges against a man from Central Frontenac, who they say was involved in a string of serious incidents north of Kingston on Sunday night.
Officers responded to reports of gunshots in the Village of Parham, around 8:30 last night, before a fire that started in a home, spread to a neighbouring church and destroyed both buildings.
One person was treated for minor injuries.
Forty-two-year-old Brian Daniel Mosher was arrested in connection to the incidents earlier today and is charged with:
- Attempt to commit murder using firearm – two counts
- Discharge a firearm into or at a place in a reckless manner
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm – two counts
- Arson – damage to property – two counts
- Using a firearm while committing offence
- Careless use of a firearm
- Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
He’s scheduled for a video bail hearing in Kingston Court today.
