The Belleville Senators have lost a veteran defenceman to Europe for the new American Hockey League season, whenever it does start.
Frank Corrado has signed with MODO of the Swedish Elite League.
The 27-year-old dressed in 36 games for the B-Sens this past season, notching 10 assists, 18 penalty minutes and a -3 rating.
He had been signed to a pro tryout by Belleville in October last year, before signing an AHL contract for the remainder of the season and was one of Coach Troy Mann’s alternate captains through to the end of the season.
