Two people have been arrested as part of Project Renewal, a joint-forces police investigation into the distribution of illegal drugs across the Quinte Region.
That investigation started in early May and this past Wednesday, the Belleville Police Emergency Response Team stopped a vehicle just east of the city and took two people into custody.
Twenty-five-year-old Jesiah Davis of Belleville is charged with three counts of breaching probation and one count of driving while suspended.
Thirty-year-old Sarah Norman of Belleville was charged with two counts of breaching bail conditions.
Police say their investigation is continuing.
