Police say a 19-year-old has been seriously injured in a single vehicle crash in Colborne early this morning.
It happened around 4:30 a.m. on Telephone Road between Trottman Road and Mutton Road, where investigators say a white Mazda lost control and went off the road, rolled into a wooded area and hit a hydro pole.
Cramahe Township firefighters, Northumberland Paramedics and OPP all responded to the scene and the driver was taken to a local hospital, before being moved to a hospital in Kingston for further treatment.
There has been no update on their identity or conditions.
Police say they are still investigating and expect that section of Telelphone Road to be closed for several hours.
