A Quinte West man has been arrested after OPP executed a search warrant at a home on Byron Street last Friday.
Members of the Crime Unit, Tactics and Rescue Unit and Emergency Response Team found two long guns, ammunition and a prohibited magazine.
Thirty-four-year-old Ryan Erdely was arrested and charged with two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, four counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition while prohibited, one count of possession of a prohibited device or ammunition and five counts of breaching release conditions.
He’s been held in custody and is scheduled for a bail hearing in Belleville Court tomorrow.
