Maple in The County organizers gifted close to 100 bottles of Prince Edward County maple syrup to the staff at Picton Sobey’s on Monday.
“Picton Sobey’s has been a wonderful sponsor of the Maple in The County festival for several years,” says Michelle Nyman from Nyman Farms. “We all wanted to do something special for their front line staff to show our appreciation for the work they’ve continued to do while COVID-19 continues to keep folks at home.”
While the 2020 Maple in The County festival unfortunately had to be cancelled due to COVID-19, the sap continued to flow and local producers have syrup and maple items available for sale with contactless pick-up. Maple lovers should contact sugar bushes directly to make arrangements.
Mark your calendars – next year’s Maple in The County festival will take place March 27-28, 2021.
