A longtime City of Belleville employment program is still running, even though many people aren’t working due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The city is reminding those looking for work or for workers, about the Work in Belleville Program, which has been around for about 10 years.
Manager of Economic Development Karen Poste tells Quinte News that the free job opportunity and resume database is one of the best ways to look for work, given the circumstances right now.
She says it will help both employers and people looking for work, to fill positions or find jobs, quickly and easily.
And Poste adds there is a wide range of businesses looking for employees.
