The Quinte and District Assocation of Realtors says it will likely be another month before we see what kind of impact COVID-19 is having on the local market.
The March real estate stats, which were released Monday, show more strong sales numbers, with total dollar sales up 12.9% from March last year, to more than $86 million.
The average sale price of a home in our area last month was $377,252, up 10% from the same month last year, with six more homes sold in the month as well.
QDAR President Heather Plane says the April stats will give a better picture of the virus’s impact on the local housing scene and that local realtors are following all recommended safety guidelines, postponing most transactions to protect the health and safety of their clients, staff and the community.
