The City of Belleville says all municipal buildings will continue to be closed until further notice.
The city is extending the closure past its original reopening date of April 6, with staff saying “physical distancing is paramount to the safety of residents and employees”.
In a statement, Mayor Mitch Panciuk is also encouraging residents to continue to follow public health guidelines as those “are the best steps we can take to reduce the length of time this interruption to our way of life will last”.
