You know what they say – “The show Must Go On” – and that’s what the Belleville Theatre Guild is saying.
Spokesperson Moira Forrester tells Quinte News the production of Mamma Mia, scheduled for April, has been postponed by the COVID-19 shutdown, but it “will go on.”
Forrester says the large cast and production crew were in motion to stage the musical in April but that has been put on hold.
Meanwhile the whole cast is preparing to get on-stage as soon as possible.
She says the Mamma Mia set is being designed by Dave Alexander and built by the volunteer crew.
Forrester says the idea is to get Mamma Mia in to rehearsal in May for Performances starting in June.
