Two 19-year-old men have been arrested in connection with a convenience store robbery in Belleville last week.
The search for suspects began after two men robbed the store on Cannifton Road last Wednesday and sprayed the store owner with an unknown substance, before stabbing him multiple times.
Belleville Police say both suspects were arrested on Saturday.
Kyle Arsenault of Belleville was arrested at a home in the city, while Jordan Earle, of Moncton New Brunswick, was picked up by RCMP in Moncton.
Arsenault was held for a show cause hearing today, while Earle is being returned to Belleville and will appear in court at that time.
Investigators are thanking the Codiac RCMP, VIA Rail Police and members of the public for their help in tracking down both men.
Police did not provide an update on the condition of the victim.
