UPDATE @ 4:35 p.m.:
OPP have released the name of a man killed in a crash just east of Bancroft this morning.
A car and a transport truck collided around 6:30 a.m., on Highway 28 near Belton Road and the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have identified the victim as 60-year-old Paul Clemmer of Carlo-Mayo Township.
There was nobody else in his vehicle and the driver of the transport wasn’t hurt.
Bancroft OPP officers and the OPP Technical Collision Investigation Team continue to look into the cause of the crash, with Highway 28 still closed in the area of Belton Road, until further notice.

Bancroft OPP are continuing to investigate a fatal collision early this morning east of Bancroft.
Hwy. 28 remains closed following a collision between a transport and a car around 6:30 this morning at Belton Road.
Reports say the car drove under the transport.
OPP are now confirming one person died at the scene.
Collision investigators are on scene at this time.
