There were two incidents for Lennox and Addington OPP to deal with on Highway 401 on Tuesday evening.
The first was just after 7:00 p.m. in the eastbound lanes near County Road 4 where a motor home had caught fire.
Loyalist Township and Greater Napanee firefighters put the blaze out and nobody was injured.
About half an hour later, an eastbound tractor trailer hit another big rig from behind and pushed it into the median, causing minor injuries to both drivers.
They were taken to hospital and released.
A 66-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with careless driving in connection to that crash.
