Lennox and Addington OPP have laid a slew of charges in connection to roughly two dozen property crimes in the Amherstview area recently.
The incidents include break-ins to homes and businesses, including the Amherstview Golf Club, as well as thefts from vehicles in the area earlier this summer.
As part of the investigation police searched an apartment complex on Amherst Drive last Wednesday and seized various evidence related to those crimes.
They also arrested four people, one of which was wanted on an outstanding warrant, and laid various charges including drug possession and trafficking, breaking and entering, fraud, breaching probation and more.

- Three counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking
- Three counts of failing to comply a probation order
- Eleven counts of possession of property obtained by crime
43-year-old Derek Rattie has been charged with:
- Possession of break-in instruments
- Three counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking
- Eleven counts of possession of property obtained by crime
19-year-old Marcus Pye-Condie has been charged with:
- Possession of break-in instruments
- Three counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking
- Three counts of failing to comply with a youth sentence
- Eleven counts of possession of property obtained by crime
All four appeared for bail hearings yesterday.
