Northumberland OPP are looking into the thefts of two trailers from a business just north of Cobourg.
Police say someone got onto the Burnham Street North property between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on August 1 and stole an enclosed trailer containing two commercial grade zero turn radius lawn tractors, seven weed eaters, three split shaft weed eaters, four backpack blowers, two hand-held blowers and a toolbox filled with various hand tools.
That trailer is white, 25 feet in length and was a year 2020 model, with two axles, the licence plate number S5644H and the VIN 7G1BE2429LE005034.
Then, overnight on August 18, a second trailer full of thousands of dollars worth of landscaping equipment was also taken.
That trailer is also white, but is a bit shorter at 20 feet and is a 2011 model.
It also has two axles with the licence plate number H3823Z and VIN 5NHUHAV2XBW059631.
Police are asking anyone who might have information on the thefts to get in touch with them or Crimestoppers.
