A Carrying Place man wants to warn neihgbours about the potential for car break-ins in the area.
The County Road 3 resident sent Quinte News a video of a man going through his car around 3:00 a.m. this past Tuesday.
The suspect had his head full covered and was wearing a backpack, and head lamp.
He says nothing was stolen, but wants to get the word out so others can remember to lock their cars and protect themselves, with policing giving him the same advice.

Meanwhile, OPP say locking you car doesn’t always help, after a locked SUV was broken into on Ireton Street in Campbellford overnight this past Monday.
Police say a suspect smashed the passenger side window with a brick and took a purse, vehicle documents, a $100 LCBO gift card, a Samsung tablet, cheques cash and a Kate Spade designer wallet.
Anyone who might have information on that incident can call Northumberland OPP or Crimestoppers.
